Youssef Abdelali (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the NOOR mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect and How It Is Used

Personal Name, The App allows you to enter your name purely to personalize your in-app experience, such as addressing you directly within affirmation screens. This name is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store your name on external servers.

Favorite Affirmations & App Preferences, Any affirmations you bookmark or save as favorites are saved locally on your device via local storage.

Photo Library Access, If you choose to save an affirmation card image to your device, the App will request permission to write to your Photo Library. We use this permission only to save the image you explicitly request to download. We do not read, upload, or access your photos.

2. Analytics, Tracking, and Third-Party Services

We use reputable third-party SDKs to analyze App usage, manage in-app subscriptions, and measure marketing campaigns. These services may collect anonymous device identifiers or technical data.

PostHog: Used for product analytics, including onboarding completion and user experience flows, to help us improve the App.

RevenueCat: Used to process in-app purchases, validate subscriptions, and manage entitlements.

TikTok SDK: Used for attribution and measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Supabase: Used as a backend service strictly to fetch general app content and new affirmations. It does not store user-specific personal data or user favorites.

Where required by iOS regulations, we request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking activity across third-party apps and websites.

3. Push Notifications

With your explicit consent, we may send daily push notifications to deliver affirmations and reminders. You can enable, disable, or manage notification settings at any time within your iOS device settings.

4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

Because NOOR does not require user registration or account creation, we do not maintain online user accounts or host personal data on remote servers. All local data, including saved preferences, custom settings, and stored names, can be cleared immediately by uninstalling the App from your device or resetting the App settings.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

All financial transactions, subscriptions, and payment processing are handled securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment information.

6. Children’s Privacy

NOOR is intended for a general audience aged 12 and above and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
